The Wivenhoe May Fair is a community-based festival, run by volunteers of all ages, that supports local music, crafts and performing arts and raises money for local, national and international charities. This year the weather was mighty fine and people of all ages, shapes and hairstyles came to sit in our park and soak up the festival atmosphere. It is hard to take pictures when you have a beer in one hand and a roast chicken leg in the other, but I managed to struggle through….

I asked my daughter if she would pose for me, she kindly agreed to flatten her spikey hair, change into one of my dresses and then we headed off down to the Bluebell woods in Wivenhoe. Click on the picture above to go to my gallery.

A couple of weeks ago Paul Cudmore ( Photographer, Essex ) asked me if I would assist him at another wedding, the images were taken by me but the copyright belongs to PC. Kelly and Steven were married and had their reception at Leez priory in Essex. Steven made a cool entrance with his best man arriving in a Helicopter. It was a beautiful spring day full of smiles, laughter and of course lots of sweets. I will post some more pics up over the next few days.
